SESSIONS:

Our school calendar is divided into five sessions. Each session will be divided up as follows:

Session 1- September 3rd - October 31st.

Session 2- November 1st-  December 23rd.

Session 3- January 2nd - February 28th.

Session 4- March 1st - April 30th.

Session 5- May 1st - June 23rd.

PRICES:

We have not raised our prices in two years, but have increased them slightly for the first time since we've opened our school. Last year we installed an addition to the floor area in our gym, and we also had our own lobby installed, so our students would not have to walk through the workout area of Olympus gym. This involved a significant increase in rent to us which we have been paying since January of this year.

We also keep our classes small so that our gymnasts spend their class time doing gymnastics and not waiting in line for their turn.  We believe that we still have the lowest prices in the area for gymnastics, and we hope that you will understand the reason for our increase in price.

Each student is required to pay a $35.00 registration fee. This fee includes insurance for each student.

The price for each two month session is $112.00. This is the price for an average of 8 classes per session which last 1 hour each. Most sessions will have 8 classes, but some sessions might have seven classes while others might have nine classes.

If there is more than 1 student in an immediate family the first student pays $112.00 per session and other students in the same family pay $102.00 each.

If students wish to take more than 1 class per week the cost of the first class is $112.00 per session and the cost of additional classes per session are $102.00 each.

If you are interested in group classes where you can form your own class please click on the "Group Classes" tab on the left for complete information including prices.

Methods of payment:

Payment for classes can be made with cash, personal checks, or credit cards. Payments can be made in person at our gym, or they can be mailed to us.

POLICIES:

* Payment for each session is due the week before the first class of each session.  Please, no exceptions. Your payment reserves your spot for the new session, and we need to know how many students we will have in order to provide you with the highest quality service which involves many factors including instructors and equipment.

* Make up classes are given when we have to call off classes because of the weather or because of emergencies. Other than that students are allowed one make up class per session for any reason. The exception is if your child has an injury or an illness and a note from a doctor saying that they shouldn't be doing gymnastics. Please see Janine to schedule make up classes in advance. Make ups can not be carried over into another session and no refunds will be given.

Please try to keep absences to a minimum. We realize that certain absences  are unavoidable. We all experience illnesses and emergencies at times, but we try to keep our classes small so that each student can get the attention that will help them to get the most out of their gymnastics classes. If we get flooded with make-up requests, this results in classes becoming crowded and students getting less instruction time.  We have had many parents tell us that they like the fact that our classes are small, and that their children get a lot of individual attention. We agree with this philosophy and you will never see more than ten students at one time taking classes in our gym. Also if there are more than five students we will schedule another teacher. That insures that your child will get the individual attention needed to succeed in gymnastics.

STUDENT BEHAVIOR- For the safety of our gymnasts we require that all students behave in an appropriate manner during class. Disruptive or unsafe behavior in class cannot be tolerated. Occasionally in classes, especially with young students, a gymnast will act up and misbehave. Our policy is that we first try to talk to the gymnast and that usually corrects the problem. If it doesn't and the gymnast still acts up we will talk to the parent and work out a plan that both parent and teacher agree with. That may involve a student sitting out a few turns, or in more serious cases sitting out a whole class. In some cases we may ask that a parent be present to supervise her child's behavior in class. Again, we always teach by encouragment and will always do what we feel is in the best interests of all of our gymnasts.

Safety:

The safety of all of our gymnasts is always our number one concern. Students will be given a set of rules regarding safety in the gym and will be expected to follow them for the well being of all gymnasts.

Please visit our website often as we will update it with items of interest and importance to our school.

Cancellations:

If we need to cancel classes because of bad weather we will have an announcement on our answering machine, and we will also post it on our website. All students will be given make-up classes if a class is canceled.

Please let us know if you are not going to continue classes when a session ends and a new session is about to begin. If you want to continue with classes and know that you are going to miss the first class of the session, please let us know and we will hold your spot open. If you are not at the first class of the new session and we haven't heard from you, we will assume that you are not continuing with classes and will fill your spot if someone else wants it.

Thank you for your interest in Starbright Gymnastics. We will do everything we can to insure that your child has a positive and enjoyable experience at our school.
