*****10/1/2008- This week our featured class is the Tuesday at 5PM class. This class is doing a great job and is already working on some more advanced skills. The question that we asked them is " What is your favorite healthy snack?" There were a few absences and we will print their answers next week, but here are the answers of the students who were present in class:
Jaclyn said that apples are her favorite snack because they give her more energy.
Jessica also said that apples were her favorite snack.
Nina said that she gets her energy from drinking water.
Mikaela said that her favorite snack food is watermelon.
Karlee said that her energy comes from eating broccoli.
These gymnasts all have a lot of energy so apparently eating healthful snacks is working for each of them. Good job, girls.
At Starbright we believe that health and fitness should be a lifetime journey. We would like to encourage our gymnasts to exercise outside the gym in order to best use their class time inside the gym. We will provide each gymnast with a plan that will help to keep them strong and healthy.
